I don't even want to think about using the Windows version on my portable devices because it's just insane how poor the sound quality is. MusicMatch Jukebox is an MP3 player, an encoder, CD burner and a CD ripper (with CDDB support) - all-in-one. If you have an older version of Windows or even Linux, then you will not be able to run the software on these operating systems.
It's slow to load, the screen is almost unreadable, it freezes up frequently and the speakers are horrible. For some reason, the Windows interface on the Yahoo! I am trying to create a back up and it does not allow me to do that, it creates a blank file, just as if I was making a new file. Now I have problems with the program and do not understand why, it was perfect after I got it. I then wanted to make a backup and download the older version for my old windows xp and vista. I liked it so much and had no problems using it.
I find that the best alternative to Mp3 Jukebox is musicmatch jukebox has all the same features plus it is a very easy program to use. Once again, I am downloading it again, hoping to find a solution. It has an incredible interface, but it doesn't work well enough. It is a MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) sequencer that's being released by Yahoo! Music, that is supposed to connect to Y! Music with the use of a Yahoo! account. Musicmatch is the most unprofessional program I have ever used. I do not care for ripping as I have found an excellent program called Audigrabber for ripping that pretty well has all the same features as Musicmatch, but it is not a burner. Also if anyone has the Musicmatch 7.5 original skins I'd settle for that since 7.5 recognizes my virtual cd drive. If anyone has a fix for this if they could e-mail me my email is. I'm able to run Musicmatch Jukebox 10 on my Windows 8.1 64 bit laptop but it doesn't recognize either the CD drive or the virtual CD drive. I'm trying to find a way to get Musicmatch Jukebox 10 to recognize my CD drive so I can rip music.
